We are saddened to hear of the passing of one of our favourites, Sue Albon.
Sue passed away peacefully on Thursday morning after years of pain and suffering a slow debilitating version of MND.
Over many years, Sue, who is a Saints Life Member, filled positions at the club including miniball coordinator, assistant boys coordinator and long-term committee member until her illness made it too difficult to continue. Coaching was her dream, and she did so with great success, making many friends along the way.
The club was better for Sue’s contribution.
Sue is survived by her totally devoted husband and carer Ian, her children Nathan, Jasmine and Tristan who all played for Saints, and many grandchildren who she pushed herself to live for. Sue got her wishes to see her children marry and the arrival of the grandchildren.
Thank you Sue, it’s your turn to now rest in peace.
