Coach’s Award Nominations

We’re excited to introduce a fresh approach to recognizing the incredible efforts of our players!

Instead of a single Coach’s Award, coaches now have the flexibility to choose from three distinct awards to celebrate their players’ contributions:

Coach’s Award – Recognising dedication, attitude, and overall contribution to the team.

Most Improved Player – Celebrating the player who has shown the most growth and development.

Best Teammate – Rewarding sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive influence on the group.

These awards focus on players who truly embody the spirit of the game, whether they make it to the grand final or not. It’s all about celebrating those who stand out for their commitment, character, and improvement throughout the season.

All Miniball players will receive a SEBC participation medal instead of a team trophy.

Selecting Your Award Recipient

Coaches can consider the following key areas when selecting a player for an award:

Sportsmanship: How does the player conduct themselves during games and interactions with teammates, opponents, referees, and coaches?

Teamwork: Does the player actively support and encourage their teammates? Are they willing to make sacrifices for the benefit of the team?

Leadership: Does the player demonstrate leadership qualities such as communication, decision-making, and motivating their teammates?

Improvement: Has the player shown noticeable improvement throughout the season in skills, understanding of the game, and overall performance?

Commitment: How dedicated is the player to attending practices, games, and other team activities? Do they consistently show up prepared and ready to give their best effort?

Nominations close: Sunday, March 2
